The concern over the 1999 PFA Player Of The Year was clear to see across social media, as side from being an iconic Premier League player from the turn of the millennium, Ginola was a well liked pundit who had just this week appeared on BT Sport's 'The Football's On' to make viewers smile with stories of his playing career.
Thankfully, Ginola has regained consciousness and although tests are currently ongoing, he appears to be in good spirits as he gave his twitter followers an update in which he couldn't resist having a pop at the Qatar World Cup.
Footy match in the midday sun, not very clever. Now having some tests done. Whoever voted for a World Cup in Qatar in the summer?

It's good to see him having a bit of fun in what has no doubt been a very worrying time for him and his family.
We at Balls.ie would like to wish David Ginola all the best and are hoping that he makes a full recovery.
