David De Gea has categorically denied accusations implicating both he and Athletic Bilbao's Iker Muniain in a rape case.
The incident relates to an ongoing investigation into a porn magnate named Ignacio Allende Fernández who was arrested two months ago on charges of distributing child porn, human trafficking and sexually abusing minors.
De Gea addressed the press from the Spain team's base in France, and journalist Dermot Corrigan of ESPN and The Irish Examiner was on hand to provide updates from the media call, where De Gea claimed the entire story was 'all a lie'.

The story was originally reported in El Diario newspaper. A number of parody Twitter accounts subsequently reported that the Manchester United goalkeeper had been sent home from the Euros, causing confusion within a number of news reports.
It now appears as if De Gea will remain with the Spanish squad throughout the course of the tournament.
