The transfer rumour process has a very clear set-up these days. Player in question first 'favourites' or 'likes' something on social media that would indicate that he fancies a move elsewhere. Next reports emerge that the player has 'said his goodbyes to his teammates. Then, the final nail in the coffin comes when the player puts his house up for sale and it crops up online.
Well David De Gea has now taken that significant final step. The Man United goalkeeper has listed his 6 bedroom house in Altrincham on property website rightmove.co.uk.
We're not really ones for property porn so we'll say that the house looks very nice and it has features that would indicate that it will be quickly snapped up at the £2,750,000 asking price.
We're sure Real Madrid will pay him handsomely, so perhaps De Gea should think about holding on to the property and renting it out. Either that or give Sergio Ramos a good deal on it to help smooth through the Spanish defender's proposed move in the opposite direction.
