When Unicef came up with the plan to have a charity football match they couldn't have picked anyone better than David Beckham to get as many stars on board as possible.
Beckham will be captaining a UK side against a rest of world side captained by Real Madrid legend Zinidine Zidane.
After much speculation the starting XI's for both teams have been named and it makes for pretty exciting reading, especially Zidane's team.
The Frenchman has got six world cup winners in his side in the form of Cafu, Fabio Cannavaro, Alessandro Nesta, Patrick Vieira, Ronaldinho and Robert Pires.
Beckham's team isn't half bad either, and whilst he may not have any World Cup winners he does have eight Champions League winners, including his class of 92' buddies Paul Scholes, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt and Ryan Giggs.
Beckham was given the opportunity to control the Manchester United Instagram account to promote the fixture.
Hi - It’s @DavidBeckham. I’m going to talk about some of my former team-mates who’ll all be at Saturday’s #MatchForChildren. First up is Cafu - what a player! Three consecutive World Cup finals as a captain. To have played as long as he has at the top level is incredible. He commanded so much respect. #BecksIsBack A photo posted by Manchester United (@manchesterunited) on
One man who won't be appearing in Saturdays match is Roy Keane, the former United captain was asked by Beckham, but refused due to the playoff game against Bosnia, however I'm sceptical whether he'd have appeared had that not been an issue.
