Nottingham Forest beat Stoke 3-2 in the League Cup on Wednesday night.
A game which looked done and dusted after 50 minutes turned into a thriller late on.
Forest had a 3-0 lead amassed by five minutes after the break. The second of those goals came from former Ireland international, Daryl Murphy, on the 40-minute mark.
It was a superb goal from the Waterford man. After the ball broke to him in midfield, an attempted pass bounced kindly off a defender and he raced through on goal, showing the pace of a man much younger than his 35 years. The finish was emphatic.
Murphy now has four goals in six games this season.
