We already know that Simon Grayson's Preston have their fair share of Irish players. Greg Cunningham, Alan Browne, Andy Boyle, Aiden McGeady and Daryl Horgan are all at the Lilywhites. So it wouldn't be surprising to see Martin O'Neill or Roy Keane make a trip to Deepdale in the next couple of months.
Four of those started todays game against Brentford. The league meeting between the two earlier in the season saw the Bees dish out a 5-0 thumping in September. And it wasn't going too well for the Lancashire club earlier. They went 1-0 down inside the first 15 minutes to a Tom Field goal.
But then the Irish took over. McGeady smacked in an equalizer from 25 yards on 18 minutes, then whipped in a great cross for Callum Robinson to give Preston the lead just after half time.
McGeady scored a second cracker with fifteen minutes to go. To top it all off, Daryl Horgan grabbed his first goal for Preston and both came off to standing ovations at Deepdale.

A McGeady brace and a first Daryl Horgan goal
Preston have only lost one league game since Boxing Day and are trying to force themselves into the playoff race. With Wes Hoolahan scoring a screamer for Norwich, David McGoldrick helping dismantly Aston Villa and Shane Long scoring for Southampton, we don't envy O'Neill's job ahead of the Wales game next month.
