Preston North End have hit upon the growing Youtube channel trend: a major sporting star is interviewed by a child.
Jurgen Klopp and Rory McIlroy have furnished the two finest examples of this, and now the most Irish club in the Championship have hit upon the format.
Their new Irish winger Daryl Horgan sat down with Alfie and Luke of the Preston youth squads, and was promptly put through his paces. The kids delivered the whole thing without the need for any notes whatsoever: an example to us all.
It's pretty good, with Alfie and Luke asking whether Horgan's move to Deepdale was preceded by his being dropped by Dundalk, before making a pretty decent pitch to be Horgan's next agent. They also ask why Robbie Keane hasn't pitched up at Deepdale yet, but there is a slightly strange moment towards the end. We heard a stray "Jesus", and we aren't fully sure whether it came from Horgan or not.
Then at the end, the kids present Horgan with a homemade Thank You card, before dropping the bombshell: they were meant to be chatting to Aiden McGeady. Watch it below:
