Irish international Darren O'Dea has joined Blackpool for a period of approximately a wet week as the club try to turn their season around.

O'Dea had been without a club since he left Metalurh Donetsk in August but now finds himself back in gainful employment with the bottom side in the Championship, in a one month deal.

Speaking about the move, O'Dea said:

I had a tough year in Ukraine, so I'm delighted to be at a good football club with good people.

I was desperate to play football again and I'm looking to now help the team.

Here's hoping he can help the team find some form.
