For much of this transfer window, Dara O'Shea has been heavily linked with a move away from Burnley.
The Irish centre-back was part of Vincent Kompany's Burnley team last year, with the Clarets relegated to the Championship in their first season back in the top flight.
Nonetheless, manager Kompany had high praise for O'Shea throughout the campaign, and whispers of a move have echoed all summer.
Brentford have reportedly been keen on adding to their Irish contingent at the back, with O'Shea's international partner Nathan Collins already on the books at the club.
Celtic have also been linked with O'Shea, with Corkman Adam Idah leaving the door open to such a possibility after re-signing with the Glasgow club last week.
However, as the transfer window draws closer to its conclusion, another name has entered the fray, with several reports linking Wolves with a move for the Ireland defender.

Wolves linked with Dara O'Shea move
Dara O'Shea may yet link up with an Irish defender in the Premier League - though it may be Matt Doherty rather than Nathan Collins.
The Telegraph reported on Wolves' finances on Monday, suggesting that the club have only £20 million remaining in the bank to spend this season. However, they added that Dara O'Shea was a high priority for the Premier League side.
Manager Gary O'Neil is said to be prioritising a centre-back, with O'Shea seen as a good option for Wolves.
Those reports were backed up by Sky Sports' Johnny Phillips, who suggested on Tuesday that Wolves are not only plotting a bid for O'Shea, but that the bid has in fact already been placed.
Phillips reports that a "firm offer" has been placed for O'Shea's services, though the fact that the club have already spent £25 million in the transfer market raises concerns about their ability to afford the Burnley man.
As Heimir Hallgrímsson prepares to take charge of Ireland for the first time, he would no doubt be thrilled to see another of his stars secure a move to the Premier League.
A top-flight move would be massive for Dara O'Shea and, regardless of whether it is Wolves, Brentford, or even to Scotland with Celtic, it seems as though there is big interest in the Dubliner.
However, time is slowly running out in this transfer window for the 25-year-old.
