Limerick teenager Dara Costelloe has joined the Burnley academy.
The 18-year-old has been training with the Premier League side since last summer and impressed with the club's U18 and U23 setups. On Monday, he helped a Steve Stone-coached side beat Newcastle 2-0 in Premier League 2.
His deal with Burnley runs until June 2022.
Best wishes to Dara Costelloe, who has today signed with Burnley's academy side.
Dara joined our under-15 side in 2017, and he made his first team debut as a 15-year-old against Finn Harps in 2018.

Costelloe previously played for Galway United. After joining Galway's U15 team from Aisling Annacotty in 2017, he made his senior debut against Finn Harps aged just 15 a year later. He was rewarded with a first-team contract for the 2019 season.
Costelloe has been praised for his "physicality and direct running style".
