Spurs were fantastic in their carving apart of Stoke in a one-sided 4-0 win.

Naturally some of their players should be in a team of the week. For the Metro, that included one Danny Rose. According to their write-up, Rose was "one of many Spurs starts to finally hit their straps, contributing at both ends of the pitch to ensure the north Londoners came away with all three points".

Unfortunately though, Rose picked up an injury whilst away with England and is out until at least next weekend. So he was probably really surprised to be nominated for the player of the week as well. He's that good.

Naturally, many people pointed out their mistake - because it's the internet in 2016 - and the Metro swiftly changed it to Ben Davies - the person who actually played left back for Spurs at the weekend.
