Evian's Danish striker Nicki Bille Nielsen is up in court this week for biting a policeman on a night out in Copenhagen in 2014. The player was arrested, initially, for kicking a parking meter.

He was placed in the back of a police van where he had to be subdued with pepper spray before allegedly biting the policeman.

One of his teammates at Evian told French newspaper Le Dauphine Libere that

When he was younger, he liked to party. Now he is quieter and there are no paparazzi here.”

Nielsen landed 24 goals in 50 games for Rosenberg in during the 2013-14 season and the incident is said to have happened when he was still at the club. Such an emphatic goalscoring season merited him a move to Evian where he has lost his magic touch in front of goal. He has scored just one in 19 games for the French side.
