This weekend, it looked like Dani Alves had played his last Barcelona game. The Champions League final in Berlin would have been a very impressive way to bow out but, after looking certain to leave the Nou Camp, Alves has signed on for a minimum of two more years at Barcelona.

That news may come as a disappointment for Man United fans after reports this weekend suggested that the Brazilian right back had signed a pre-contract agreement at Old Trafford. Although it would have been interesting to see how Alves fared in the Premier League, we'll just have to make do with seeing him bomb down the wing for Barcelona for another couple of years.
