Diego Forlan ruffled a few feathers with his comments in the Spanish media regarding the situation between Edinson Cavani and Neymar at PSG.
While the Uruguayan was always going to stick up for his countryman and former teammate, he appears to have gotten his facts mixed up when it comes to Dani Alves' involvement in the mini-spat that dominated headlines around the world.
Forlan suggested the Brazilian acted like a "bitch" as he believed he had acted on Neymar's behalf and taken the ball for him to take the free-kick.
It's a problem between Neymar and Cavani, those things happen on all teams. What does not make sense is what Alves does, he doesn't give the ball to Cavani but gives it to Neymar as if he were his bitch.
But that's not exactly how it went down.
From the clip that went viral, it looked as though Dani Alves refused to give Cavani the ball but then allowed Neymar to take it, but the larger-than-life fullback disputed that while suggesting that Forlan 'shut the fuck up':
I don't know what game you all saw but I did not take the ball away from my teammate they took it from me.
And just so you know, the last PSG free kick goal was scored by me... So shut the fuck up and stop using my name for controversy.

He's got a point, Neymar sweeps in like a ninja while he is arguing with Cavani, and as a result Dani Alves walks away and washes his hands of the situation, but what upset Forlan was the fight that he initially put up to Cavani was not the same when Neymar wanted to take it.
Reportedly, it was Alves who made the most effort to end any feud between the two attackers by inviting them both out to dinner this week, so it's understandable that he would be upset with how Forlan spoke about him initially.
So much fuss over a free-kick that was comfortably saved, if this is the biggest problem they have with the collection of egos in Paris they'll enjoy a fine season.
