Despite what was initial excitement in the stadium, Poland's equaliser against Scotland was actually a bad result for Ireland. Sure at the start of the night we were looking for a play-off spot but after all the magnificent drama, Robert Lewandowski's second of the night actually ended up putting a dent in Ireland's hopes of automatic qualification.
But forget about that for a second and just remember the fact that Scotland have been our biggest rivals throughout this campaign. There was quite a bit of needle in the two clashes between the sides and for a long time it looked like they would be the team to break our hearts.
Yet one point form the last three games has resulted in this.
