The Daily Mail upset a lot of Liverpool fans this afternoon for showing what appeared to be a very biased take on the actions of supporters in Anfield compared to that at Upton Park this week.
And it had nothing to do with a bus either.
As Upton Park closed it's doors for the last time ever on Tuesday night, season ticket holders began ripping up seats to take home as souvenirs, which was seen as understandable as it is a great memento and their not going to need the seats when the stadium gets demolished, right?
Well, at Anfield, in the main stand that is set to be torn down during the summer, the Liverpool fans did the same thing on Wednesday night after the Chelsea match in grabbing their memento, and this was reported very differently by the Mail.
And it really didn't look good.
Absolute gobshites @MailSport West Ham take Souvenirs but Liverpool steal. Pathetic southern Bias as per usual. pic.twitter.com/Odv7Ydvnlj

Liverpool fans were quick to condemn the decision to accuse those at Anfield of stealing, while celebrating the Hammer's fans "souvenir time!":
Typical daily mail bullshit. Why are Liverpool fans "stealing" but West Ham fans "posing with souvenirs"?? pic.twitter.com/nBf4DZhNug

And the Daily Mail has backpedaled by changing their headline to something a lot more reasonable:
Although the twitter headline is still quite odd:
Liverpool fans seen taking SEATS from Anfieldhttps://t.co/pXRbZ1FaxY via @MailSport that

A blunder from the Daily Mail.
