Jeff Powell's Daily Mail column today appeared with some news that really must've delighted Man Utd fans. That news being, they are in this season's Champions League.

Powell was pondering over football's loan system and how it is now being used for purposes that it was never meant for. One of the questions which he wanted answered was what would happen if Man Utd were to meet Radamel Falcao's parent club Monaco in the Champions League knockout stages this season.
It's certainly a unique question regarding this season's competition that not many had thought about previously.
Some great research by the Mail! I highly doubt United will make it to the knockout stages of the CL! pic.twitter.com/R5rCziZEuZ — EPL Stat Man (@EPLStatman) September 5, 2014

Stick to the boxing, Jeff.
