Championship high flyers Derby are one of the main suppliers of players to the Irish squad at the moment, and two of their players in particular, Jeff Hendrick and Richard Keogh, look certain to be in the starting XI next Summer.
However it was neither Hendrick or Keogh who had everyone raving on Friday night, it was Cyrus "The Virus" Christie.
The right back earned himself a lot of plaudits following his impressive performance over World Champions Germany in October, and he was at it again tonight as Derby secured a massive win away to fellow title rivals Hull live on Sky Sports News.
And it wasn't just Derby fans raving about the 23 year old, fans of rival Championship sides and Premier League teams were singing the praises of the talented right back.
I hope this Christie chap for Derby is being looked at by #nufc he looks a quality RB

Very reassuring to have two quality right backs heading into France next year, if only one of them was a left back, we'd actually have a chance of winning the thing
