Remember when you thought you could be a footballer? Yes. Remember when you watched a 16-year-old Wayne Rooney smashed one in against Arsenal and you thought, "That's it, I'm never going to make it." The fact that these players achieve so much so young makes us wonder just what we're doing with our lives.
Over the years the likes of Wayne Rooney and Aaron Lennon have burst onto the scene at a young age and it makes us feel old and generally unhappy because we weren't banging them in and earning £30,000 a week before being able to grow a proper beard.
Here are the latest players to make you think 'good God I'm old, what have I done with my life?'
Jordan Pickford - 22 years old (7th March 1994)
Jordan Pickford stepped in to start in nets for Sunderland after Vito Mannone suffered an arm injury. He started against Southampton last Saturday, putting in a good performance before his error allowed Jay Rodriguez to equalize. Pickford has been on loan at 6 different clubs in the last 5 years and has represented England at every level from U-16 to U-21.
Mason Holgate - 19 years old (22nd October 1996)
Holgate signed for Everton on the 13th of August 2015 and made his debut exactly one year later in Everton's 1-1 draw with Spurs. The 19 year old has started all 3 of Everton's Premier League games this year as Seamus Coleman is out injured. Holgate also plays for England's U-20 squad.
Brendan Galloway - 20 years old (17 March 1996)
Galloway featured heavily for Everton last season as regular left-back Leighton Baines was out of action. He was loaned out to West Brom this season and started against Middlesbrough on Sunday, helping his side to their first clean sheet of the season. Galloway played for England in the qualifying games for the 2014 UEFA U-19 Championship but is still eligible to play for Zimbabwe.
Reece Oxford - 17 years old (16th December 1998)
Rob Holding - 20 years old (20th September 1995)
Arsene Wenger brought Holding in this summer from Bolton, and the 20-year-old has played every minute of the Premier League season so far. It will be interesting to see how long that lasts when Mustafi arrives. (spoiler alert: not long) Although, Wenger has said that Mustafi will have to work to get his place in what is a fairly shaky Arsenal defence. Knowing Arsenal they'll be in the midst of an injury crisis fairly soon and the 20 year old will get some game time.
Aiden O' Neill - 18 years old (4th July 1998)
Despite what his name may suggest, Mr. O'Neill is not Irish. He is in fact Australian. He is also offesnively young to be playing in the Premier League. O' Neill moved to England to pursue a career in football at the age of 16, signing with the then-Championship side Burnley. Burnley are now in the Premier League and the Australian's last two appearances came as substitute appearances against Liverpool and Chelsea. Bit of a baptism of fire for the lad.
Marko Grujic - 20 years old (13th April 1996)
The 20 year old Serbian signed for Liverpool this summer and made his debut in their second Premier League game of the season, coming on as a substitute for the final 13 minutes of the game. Grujic played his club football with Red Star and Kolubara in Serbia and represented his country at all youth levels, including winning the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2015.
Jonathan Leko - 17 years old (24th April 1999)
Jonathan Leko made history last April by coming on as a substitute for Saido Berahino in West Brom's tie with Sunderland. At just 16 years and 9 months old, he was the first layer born in 1999 to play in the Premier League. How dare he be young and talented?
Leko was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo but moved to England with his family at the age of 8 and has represented England at U-16 and U-17 levels.
Josh Onomah - 19 years old (27th April 1997)
Onomah made his debut for Tottenham last season at just 18 years old, making 8 appearances in the Premier League. He has featured as a late substitute in 2 of Spurs' 3 games this season. He featured in the England U-19 team that made the semi-finals of the European Championships this tear.
Joel Asoro - 17 years old (27th April 1999)
Joel Asoro is a Swedish forward who plays for Sunderland. He came on for 10 minutes in Sunderland's 2-1 loss to Middlesbrough a couple of weeks ago. He also represents the Sweden U-17 international side... Yeah.
Marcus Rashford - 18 years old (31st October 1997)
This lineup wouldn't be complete without the brightest prospect currently playing in the Premier League. Rashford is the name on all Manchester United fans lips after his late winner against Hull on Saturday. At just 18 years old, Rashford has played in the Premier League, the Champions Leage and the European Championships. Oh and he scored on his debut in the first two of those. Rashford is a player who is already immensely talented and will go a long way if the English press don't bury him in hype.
