Whoever is running the Crystal Palace Twitter account then raise your right hand and give yourself a well deserved pat on the back. In a brilliant comic video using footage from their own players transfer announcements, the London club has cut through the social media bullshit that comes with the announcement of a new arrival.
During the course of the clip which was uploaded this evening they run through the various stages that occur when a player is about to sign for a club including the 'ambiguous tweet about impending announcement', the first interview with hard hitting journalistic questions such as 'what was the appeal of joining the Eagles and 'player pretending to have a medical'.

Perhaps the most amusing thing about the video is that some Palace fans thought the pisstake was an actual nod to anupcoming transfer deal, with the club linked with Lille centre back Ibrahim Amadou:
ANNOUNCE AMADOU ?

Genuinely thought this was a signing

It’s funny we heard about us making a bid for a player earlier today ??

Is this a tease? I feel teased. But I am not sure. Help.
