Crystal Palace replaced Sam Allardyce as their manager in a somewhat dramatic style yesterday.
It all started with a Vatican-esque announcement from a chicken shop in Croydon:

At the end of it all, Frank De Boer was appointed as manager of the Eagles. The Dutchman signed a three-year contract and has previoulsy had spelss in charge of Ajax and Inter Milan.
He's also got a twin brother called Ronald. You'd think that the people that run the Crystal Palace website and twitter account would be able to tell the two apart.
Apparently not. Ronald was quick to point out that the South London club had made a mistake during a career retrospective of their new boss on Twitter.
Its very difficult to find action photos of Frank , that's why they use me instead 😂😂🙈 @CPFC #urnotthefirstandnotthelast @FdeBoerofficial pic.twitter.com/e3JqGrx9A6

This is @FdeBoerofficial on the left. He already knew then that one day he would manage a team with those colors 😉 @CPFC #niceTrio👌🏻 pic.twitter.com/XFhD2qt4WR

One's called Ronald, one's called Frank...
In fairness, the club took it well in their stride.

De Boer was the head of Ajax's youth academy when Christian Eriksen, Daley Blind and Toby Alderweireld came through. When he was in control of the first team, Jan Vertonghen and Siem De Jong made names for themselves. That seems to be De Boer's main focus at Palace. He spoke at the 'unveiling' press conference yesterday about his hopes for the future:
The club have a famous youth academy and they have raised some good players. I will give youth an opportunity when they are good enough and it’ll be interesting to see how talented the players are. If we can get some of them training with the first-team that would be fantastic.
It’s a club that can grow further and further because English clubs in the Premier Le ague can spend a lot of money, and we can do something well with that. There is the prospect to be a solid Premier League club and this is the most important thing for me right now, not struggle for relegation. If we can do more that would be nice, but we want to be a stable club.
If things take a turn for the worse, they could always just swap him for his brother. Not mant would notice!
