After months of speculation surrounding Mo Salah's future, the Egyptian has now put pen to paper on a new contract extension at Liverpool which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2025.
The new deal now makes Salah Liverpool's best-paid player of all time, with the 30-year-old rumoured to be earning £350,000 a week.
As weeks passed, many Liverpool fans feared the worst that their talisman could potentially be leaving the club this summer at a cut price due to his previous contract ending next year.
Salah has scored 156 goals in 253 games so far for Liverpool and has won every available trophy possible since joining the club along with, three golden boots and two FWA Player of the Year.
This afternoon, Liverpool released a video of Mo Salah on holiday lying by the pool. It showed Salah scrolling through tweets from fans eagerly waiting for an announcement news of an extended contract.
Salah then put the Liverpool jersey on saying "Salah stays".

Liverpool released another video afterwards speaking to Mo Salah about his new deal.
Salah said:
"I feel great, excited to win trophies with the club. It's just a happy day for everyone
"It takes time, a little bit I think to renew but now everything is done so we just need to focus on what's next"
Reaction to Mo Salah's agent's tweet
However, judging by Twitter, it seemed like relations between the club and Salah were in a bad place.
Earlier today, Mo Salah's agent Ramy Abbas Issa caused uproar across Liverpool twitter after tweeting a laughing face.

Many fans felt this was yet another dig from the agent who hasn't been the most popular figure among Liverpool fans in recent times due to some of his comments.
Issa's tweet was picked up by Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher who voiced his displeasure at the Colombian.
Carragher tweeted:
"All Reds love your client, and if he is to leave next summer we will wish him well & say a big thank you. But we can do without this cryptic crap for the next 12 months!
@MoSalah have a word!! "
