Liverpool moved another step closer to a first league title in 30 years with a 2-1 win over Bournemouth this afternoon, leaving them only nine points short of securing the trophy.
It was far from a vintage performance from Jurgen Klopp's side. They fell behind to a strike from Callum Wilson early on, but goals from Mo Salah and Sadio Mane meant they went into halftime leading 2-1.
They didn't really kick on from here, with Bournemouth having a number of opportunities to level the score. Despite this, Liverpool hung on for the win.
A first league title under Klopp could well lead to many more. That is the opinion of Peter Crouch and Rio Ferdinand, who said on BT Sport that they feel a Liverpool period of dominance could be on the horizon.
"As long as this manager stays and they keep key players they'll dominate for a number of years!"
"I don't see anyone wanting to leave here!"

Crouch: I genuinely believe that as long as this manager stays and they keep their key players, they will build on that and dominate for a number of years.
Ferdinand: You look at their recruitment and the way the recruit the players, and the way the players buy into it when they come in. What [Klopp] has created here is a culture. It's not that he's just created a team, he's created a culture that goes beyond that.
This is here to stay, it isn't going anywhere. When you look the facilities, the resources that they've got, the backing they've got, the fan base, it's ominous for everyone.
Key to any successful period will be retaining their key players. With a number of world class operators in the side, there will be no shortage of interested suitors.
Liverpool will have to pay wages to match those on offer at other clubs, but Crouch and Ferdinand find it difficult to see why any player would want to leave Anfield.
Crouch: If you're winning trophies and part of a successful thing, and you're happy, then why would you leave? If you keep hold of these players then a period of dominance is inevitable.
Ferdinand: During our period of dominance at Manchester United we only had one player who wanted to leave and left: Cristiano Ronaldo. Everyone else wanted to be there.
You might get one, if you're unlucky maybe two, but I don't see anyone wanting to leave here.
A big change is people being asked 'where would you go if you leave your club', a lot of players are saying Liverpool. Mbappe is one I saw mooted, he's one of the best two or three players in the world at the moment.
If players like that are coming here, you're not going to want to leave.
