Croatia are currently doing battle with Spain in their opening Nations League match in Group A4. It has been a first half to forget for Zlatko Dalic's men, with three first half goals from Spain leaving the World Cup finalists staring down the barrel of an embarrassing defeat.

Just two minutes later the Croatian net rippled again, with Asensio's brilliant shot from the right wing hitting the woodwork and cruelly bouncing off of Kalinic and crossing the line to send Spain 3-0 up:
