Take a cheap tablecloth from a dodgy looking Italian restaurant and turn it into something iconic. It's a fairly tough brief and yet time and time again, the designers of Croatia's kit just seem to be able to hit the nail squarely on the head.
The image of Davor Suker wheeling away arms aloft at the World Cup in 1998 has ensured that the Croatian jersey has always been near the top of the alternative wish list when it comes to major tournament kits and this year is going to be no different judging by the leaked images of their Euro 2016 effort.
They've taken the iconic red and white check pattern, given it a bit of a distorted update and it looks damn fantastic.
The away effort certainly isn't too bad either.
Given that we don't have to worry about coming up against Luka Modric and co. in the group stage this time around, you can be sure that you'll see quite a few of these on Irish streets in the coming months and unless we somehow meet the Croats in the latter stages, we're okay with that.
If however that does happen, we reserve the right to delete all the above and call any Irish man or woman with one of these jerseys a horrible traitor.
Stick to this absolute classic if you absolutely have to show Croatia some love:
