Cristiano Ronaldo Reveals That His Son Is Teased Because Of Messi

Imagine being the son of Cristiano Ronaldo. How great a life must that be? Your dad is one of the most famous sports stars in history, and you're essentially made for life because of his work. There can't be any downsides, right? Wrong.

Ronaldo recently gave ON TV in Egypt an extensive interview, during which he mentions how his son - Cristiano Jr - is teased in school by children who say that Messi is better than his Dad.

Of course Cristiano is going to have some adversity. People are jealous.

But I see a very happy boy. Sometimes people tell him 'oh your daddy is not a good player. The other one is better.'

But he knows how to deal with that. He's a smart boy like his daddy. I say to Cristiano many many times: 'Be yourself, be educated.'

The most important thing for me is education. It's something that you can control, the rest, you  never now. If you give a good education and good values to your son, he's going to grow up in a good way.

That's a nice sentiment. But how harsh are those other kids in Madrid?! Ronaldo Sr has four Ballon d'Ora, a rake of Champions League medals and plenty of underwear sponsorships.

The full interview is about half an hour long but it gives a good insight into how Ronaldo's mind works and you can watch it below.

Another highlight is Ronaldo saying that he wants his junior to become a striker. Anything but a goalkeeper really. Which is completely understandable.
