If there's a giant Red Alert button at Old Trafford, someone might have pressed it this morning.
According to reports coming out of Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to quit Spanish football.
Newspaper A Bola, claims that the Real Madrid man is 'outraged' by a decision in Spain to charge him with tax fraud for the alleged non-payment of €14.7 million in income. That's a charge which the 32-year-old hotly contests.
A Bola's front page today shouts: Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Spain.
They also say that Ronaldo has already told Florentino Perez of his decision.
The decision is irreversible and he has already told the Real Madrid president.

Spanish authorities have accused Ronaldo of using a shell company in the Virgin Islands to 'create a screen in order to hide his total income from Spain’s tax office'.
In a statement released earlier this week, that is something which was denied by Ronaldo's agents GestiFute.
There is no offshore structure for evading taxes … [Cristiano Ronaldo has never] had a tax problem, contrary to what the Spanish prosecutors insinuate. All contractual modifications … have been made to guarantee that the incomes [Ronaldo derives] fully observe Spanish tax regulations.
