Yes, Cork City. Yes.
League of Ireland club Cork City are coming fresh off the back of an encouraging European campaign and they have unveiled a serious treat for the fans in the form of a re-released retro jersey.
The 'Guinness' sponsored jerseys are remembered fondly by League of Ireland fans, and City fans and in particular, so the launch of any of the old jerseys from that time would surely have sold well...
But they picked a beauty.

This is of course a throwback to the wonderful Adidas away jersey circa 1992, which we featured in our article '10 League Of Ireland Jerseys That Showcase The Beautiful Madness Of The 1990s'.
Originally made by Adidas, it's won't be played in and will remain just a fan jersey as the club is currently sponsored by Nike for their gear. It was lovely then, and it's lovely now.
Great stuff from the Cork City marketing department, we'd love to see more League of Ireland clubs have a go.
