Sunday's Chelsea-Spurs game was wild and eventful and birthed the Premier League's next great manager's beef: Thomas Tuchel v Antonio Conte.

Both managers were red-carded after a bizarre handshake that spawned a huge kerfuffle after the final whistle between both benches. The pair had already had a coming together after Højbjerg's equaliser. Thomas Tuchel also launched into a wild celebration up Conte's touchline (right past the crestfallen Antonio Conte) after Reece James put Chelsea back in the lead.

Speaking after after the game, Conte would not be drawn on the incident.

"My opinion is it’s better to talk about the game. It was a difficult game for both teams and we try in every game to be competitive. I don’t want to comment on the [Tuchel] situation, this is not the most important thing. If there’s a problem, it’s between me and him."

But he did not let the day end without firing a shot at the German.

Antonio Conte calls out Tuchel on Instagram

Antonio Conte took the beef to his Instagram Story page last night where he posted a slo-mo video of Tuchel's epic celebration right past Conte deep in thought, with the caption "Lucky I didn’t see you… Making you trip over would have been well deserved …" He included three laughing emojis and then translated the message for his Italian followers.

It's typical Antonio Conte: humour and menace wrapped in one.

The post went up around midnight London time, only to be deleted and reposted.

Tuchel is not on Instagram, but he does have a Twitter account that hasn't been updated since 2020 (he only follows Chelsea). Perhaps, he'll end his silence today with a reply for Conte.

He did give his take on the handshake spat with Sky Sports after the game.

"I thought when we shake hands you looked in each other eyes, he had a different opinion. It was not necessary but a lot of things were not necessary."

The two sides renew acquaintances again in February.
