Leeds United defender Conor Shaughnessy is set for a loan move to Hearts.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that the 22-year-old will make the move to the Scottish Premiership until the end of the season.
Shaughnessy has made just one appearance for Leeds this season. That came back in August in the League Cup against Preston. Injury has played a part in his lack of game time.
The centre-back initially joined Leeds in 2016 after being released by Reading. He penned a four-year deal at Elland Road in September 2017. Last season he made 14 appearances for the club.
The Galway man will replace another Irish defender at Hearts. After a successful loan spell which saw him play 14 times this season, Jimmy Dunne has returned to Burnley. Dunne suffered an ankle injury back in November which kept him out of action for the past six weeks.
With the Scottish Premiership currently amid their winter break, Shaughnessy will join Hearts on their training camp in Spain.
