What a signing Connor Ronan has been for St Mirren. The Paisley club may now be without Jim Goodwin and Jamie McGrath, but Ronan is keeping the Irish interest well and truly alive.
Since arriving from Wolves in late August on loan, Ronan has made a name for himself in the Scottish Premiership with seven goals in 24 appearances.
He's in fine form as of late - with four goals in his last eight games. As pointed out by BBC Sport's Kenny Crawford on Twitter, he's scored three winners in 1-0 victories.
Connor Ronan On Point
One of the three came on Wednesday night as St Mirren travelled to bottom side Dundee and nothing separated the sides after 90 minutes.
It was a dramatic end to the game as St Mirren right-back Richard Tait had a goal ruled out from a corner after it was brought back for a foul.
But with three minutes elapsed in stoppage time, substitute Jay Henderson found Ronan in the Dundee box from the right wing and the Irishman headed home to win.
Connor Ronan winner for St Mirren vs Dundee
After the game St Mirren's new manager, Stephen Robinson, believed it was a deserved winner after a dominant performance in the second-half in particular.
"We got exactly what we deserved, we dominated the game. We could have had six with the chances we had," Robinson said.
"You think that it might not be your night at times but we scored a very good goal and got our just rewards for staying calm and the quality of the chances we created."
"It went our way tonight and deservedly so, the more you play in the opposition's box the better chance you have of getting something to fall for you."
Connor Ronan will likely be catching the interest of Stephen Kenny with his performances this season. He's produced some fine goals in this current SPL campaign.
The Irish interest doesn't stop at Ronan at St Mirren, however. Captain Joe Shaughnessy, as well as Conor McCarthy and Alan Power make up the rest of the Irish contingent.
