Newcastle's Fabricio Coloccini saw red both literally and metaphorically during his side's 1-1 draw with Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira in a friendly yesterday.

Coloccini grabbed opposition striker Caetano by the neck after he fallen to the ground following an awkward challenge from the Newcastle captain.

Lucky for Coloccini he will only miss the Magpies next friendly against Blackpool this weekend rather than a competitive game.
