It wasn't necessarily a second international cap to remember for Colin Doyle yesterday evening.
Drafted in after Darren Randolph, Kieran Westwood and Rob Elliot were deemed unavailable, the 'keeper was unfortunate to concede what would be the only goal of a drab 1-0 defeat for Ireland.
Over ten years on from when he made his international breakthrough, Doyle may remember his second cap better for what came immediately afterward.
With England's League One & Two playing a scheduled round of games today, Doyle's services in Bradford were required.
From Southern Turkey back to Yorkshire, Doyle had a helluva 24 hours.
💪 He played a full game for the Republic of Ireland in Turkey last night and it has taken two flights for him to get here but it hasn't stopped Colin Doyle being in the starting line-up for the Bantams this afternoon. ✈️🇹🇷➡️🇮🇪➡️🏴

Some achievement by the 'keeper, the Bantams were able to make sure Doyle was on the right side of 1-0 this time; they beat Gillingham to keep their hopes of promotion alive.
Needless to say, there was a large sway of support for Doyle from his club fans.

Doyle has also had his own say on a hectic day.
What a 24hrs it’s been. Playing for my country and then back to play for Bradford and get a very important 1-0 win. Need to sleep now 😴🇮🇪 @bcafcofficial @umbro @faireland pic.twitter.com/rU6g2kNBJE
