Cliftonville drew Celtic in the second round of the Champions League qualifiers yesterday and former Celtic player Diarmuid O'Carroll who is now at Cliftonville certainly was not hiding his allegiances to his old club.
From thesun.co.uk:
“It’s a dream draw for Cliftonville — Celtic was the team everyone wanted.
“I’d say everyone in our squad supports them and we were trying to arrange a trip to go over and watch them in the Champions League this season.
“But now we are going to be playing against Celtic.
“It’s amazing and I don’t think anyone can believe it. There has been an unbelievable reaction from everyone around the club.
“It’s a serious tie for both clubs but I think the two games will be a bit of a party for the fans as well.
“We’ll be going to Parkhead with two hats on — we want to do well but we also want to see Celtic in the group stage again.”
Two hats on? Could they not just buy some of those half and half scarves instead?
