Good old Claudio. The Leicester City manager seemed almost as surprised as everybody else when the Foxes marched to the top of the table. Even as they dispatched team after team, the Italian refused to acknowledge that his team were title challengers - even after they had mathematically won.
Now though, people are wondering what they will do next season. Will they challenge again? Will they regress to what they were? Surely Ranieri himself is targeting another great season?
Nope.
I think it is important to maintain the Premier League, to be safe. Yes 40 points [is the target] because I don't want one day (to be high) and one day (to be low), no no no. I want consistency. The second year is more difficult. So, 40 points, stay in the first tier.
Then, if possible, move to the Champions League. Then, if possible to dream, of lifting another cup. That is our ambition.
We know it will be hard, but we are ready.
Dream big Claudio, dream big. You've earned it.
