Liverpool have reached the Champions League final. Jurgen Klopp's side just overcame Roma after two legs which included a shaky 4-2 loss tonight but their fans will care little as they are on their way to Kiev where they will face Real Madrid.

A nerve-ridden night was brought to a halt shortly after a late Nainggolan penalty and instigated monumental celebrations in the stadium and in Anfield. The club had catered to fans unable to travel and allowed them watch the game in Liverpool.

The Liverpool players also paid tribute to Sean Cox, the Irish Liverpool fan injured before the first leg after an attack by Roma fans.

Sean Cox sustained head injuries after being assaulted outside The Albert Pub last Tuesday in an incident that sparked widespread outrage. On Monday, it was reported that doctors at the Walton Neurological Centre hoped to bring the 53-year-old from Dunboyne out of his induced coma while Liverpool players hung a St. Peter's Dunboyne GAA jersey in the dressing room last weekend.
