The new Ekstraklasa season is already three games old and Cillian Sheridan's Jagiellonia Bialystok are the only side with a 100 per cent record.

Jagiellonia's perfect start to the season was maintained thanks to Sheridan's persistence on Sunday. Though, there was also a helping of some very poor defending.

The game deadlocked at 0-0 as it ticked towards 90 minutes, Sheridan pick pocketed Pogon Szczecin captain Jaroslaw Fojut as he attempted a backpass to his goalkeeper.

Through on goal, Sheridan sent the Pogon captain and goalkeeper into despair with a cool finish.

The win leaves Jagiellonia top of the table on nine points. It was Sheridan's second goal of the season.
