There was a party atmosphere at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon, as the Hoops celebrated a third successive Scottish Premiership crown.

Celtic secured the title in style on Wednesday night, rocking up a huge 5-0 win at Kilmarnock to ensure they will finish ahead of rivals Rangers.

In truth, the title was all but sealed in last Saturday's Old Firm, when Celtic ran out 2-1 winners to leave them needing just one point from their final two games to secure the prize.

Needless to say, Rangers fans will not have been enthused to watch their bitter rivals lifting the Premiership trophy on Saturday. As the party atmosphere took over at Paradise, Chris Sutton had a perfect dig at the absent Kris Boyd in the Sky Sports studio.

Chris Sutton pulls brilliant Kris Boyd prank as Celtic celebrate title

It's no secret that former Rangers man Kris Boyd fairly loathes the club's old enemy across Glasgow.

Boyd himself has made plain his feelings towards Celtic, with numerous flashpoints this season seeing him clash with ex-Celtic players on punditry duty with Sky Sports.

It was no surprise that Boyd was in absentia from the Sky studio at Celtic Park - it's hard to think of a man who would less enjoy seeing the Bhoys lifting the trophy in the Glasgow sunshine.

Ex-Celtic man Chris Sutton was at the centre of a perfect send-up, with Sutton producing a lifesize cardboard cutout of Boyd ahead of kick-off on Saturday.

Sutton said, "That is my replacement...I know he wanted to come and celebrate Celtic's title success," before imitating Boyd by repeatedly saying, "RANGERS ARE COMING!"

Neil Lennon, a fellow Celtic legend, was cracked up by Sutton's prank, as was former Scotland striker James McFadden.
