One of the early favourites to go straight back down to the Championship this season, Chris Hughton has masterminded Brighton & Hove Albion's Premier League status for 2018/19.
Requiring three points from their remaining games to ensure safety, tricky ties against Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool appeared to make that challenge a little bit more difficult than necessary.
However, hosting Jose Mourinho's side at the Amex Stadium tonight, the former Irish international oversaw his side claim a priceless victory and secure their Premier League status.
Fair play Chris Hughton. Great feat to stay up.

Brighton staying up is one of the stories of the Premier League season. Delighted for Chris Hughton... Always comes across as a top bloke and hasn't always been treated the best at other clubs.

Thrilled for Brighton. When I filmed there on eve of season most of fans had a gallows humor at all that was to come and a determination to savor every moment. Chris Hughton and his squad have given them that and more. Remarkable collective achievement

Chairman, players, fans all pulling in the same direction under the stewardship of one of the nicest, most genuine guys you could meet in the game in Chris Hughton. Well played @OfficialBHAFC this season.

Chris Hughton has done a brilliant job. Fixture list wasn't going to do Brighton any favours with all of the top four in last five games of the run-in but he's got them to safety.
