Republic of Ireland international and Luton Town winger Chiedozie Ogbene has been tipped for a return to the Premier League, with Ipswich Town keen to sign the Irish star before this Friday's transfer deadline.
Ogbene signed for Luton from Rotherham on a free transfer ahead of the 23/24 Premier League season and impressed despite Luton's fall back to the Championship.
However, reports from the BBC this morning suggest that Ipswich Town are looking to wrap up their summer dealings with the singing of Ogbene, who scored 5 times in 39 appearances last season and clocked the second-fastest speed in the Premier League.
Although the Tractor Boys have already spent nearly 100 million pounds this transfer window, it is believed they are keen to add another forward to their mix after Wes Burns picked up an injury during their opening-day clash with Liverpool.

Ogbene tipped to join growing number of Irish stars in Ipswich
While a move is far from completed, should Ogbene make the move back to the top flight with Ipswich, the Corkonian will be in good company as he joins the growing roster of Irish stars calling Ipswich home.
The Tractor Boys have already signed a host of Irish Internationals in the last number of weeks, with Ogbene being the third player they've looked to sign this Summer.
Should the move transpire, Ogbene will join fellow international forward Sammie Szmodics who came over from Blackburn Rovers having being the top-scorer in last year's Championship. Both men will be playing alongside defender Dara O'Shea who signed with the Tractor Boys last week after they beat Wolves to sign him from Burnley.
Not only will this have Chiedozie Ogbene playing in the top flight of English football, but having three Irish stars playing week-in, week-out in the Premier League will surely be a good thing for Heimir Hallgrímsson as he looks to build up the future of Irish football.
The trio would also be joining the two other Irish players already on the books at Ipswich: Jack Taylor and Marcus Harness. Making for an astonishing five Irish players all playing under a Fermanagh manager in the Premier League this season.
