Fernando Torres opened the scoring for Chelsea against Bayern Munich in the European Super Cup this evening with this excellent finish.

Franck Ribery made it 1-1 early in the second half.

Ramires was sent off late in the second half after a nasty tackle on Mario Gotze got him a second yellow card.

Right at the end of the second period of extra time when all seemed lost for Bayern, Javi Martinez popped up to equalise.

The game went to penalties and after nine pretty much perfect ones, Romelu Lukaku stepped up and missed the tenth.
