With each passing day it looks like Thibaut Courtois' time at Stamford Bridge is nearing its end. The Belgian number one has made no secret of his desire to move to Spain, with two of the player's children living with his ex-girlfriend in Madrid.
Courtois has been heavily linked with a £35 million move to Real Madrid, and Chelsea have already bolstered their goalkeeping options with the signing of recently released Huddersfield 'keeper Rob Green on a year long deal.
Green only joined the Terriers last summer, but didn't make a single appearance for David Wagner's side as they finished 16th in the PL.
The Blues have also been reported as having an interest in bringing former Liverpool player Pepe Reina to Stamford Bridge. The Sun report that the club is willing to pay £9 million to secure the services of the 35-year-old, who only joined AC Milan from Napoli this summer on a free transfer.
However Reina himself has dismissed speculation of a move, telling CMC that the Chelsea story is "just rumours":
I have only just arrived. I want to enjoy these days with the boys and integrate with the group as quickly as possible. I want to give my best, my contribution and continue to improve.
Reina has played for Napoli and Bayern Munich since his departure from Anfield, and was Napoli's first choice keeper last season as they came agonisingly close to winning Serie A, losing out by four points to Juventus.
The Spaniard kept 18 clean sheets last term in Italy, the most of any 'keeper in the division, but despite this Chelsea fans are not warming to the prospect of having Reina as their number one:
