Every year, there are several youngsters in Football Manager that end up turning into global superstars as you play the game. Sometimes is works out for these players in real life, and other times they fade away, never to reach the heights that Football Manager predicted.
Maybe Chelsea have used the game to identify their next target, but more likely their scouting team has come to the same conclusion as the Football Manager scouts. Reports in Brazil hint that Chelsea are close to signing wonderkid Robert Kenedy.
The Fluminese striker is said to be moving to London for a fee of £6.3 million, as Chelsea look to have beaten Barcelona to his signing. Brazilian website Globosporte claim that Kenedy will make the move soon, after his rights were sold to an investment group. The 19-year-old's economic rights are now split between Fluminese, BMG Bank and the player's agent.
