Chelsea gained a small bit of revenge against Arsenal for the FA Cup final after they ran out 3-0 winners in a friendly this morning in Beijing.
Antonio Conte opted against starting new signing Alvaro Morata, instead opting to lead the line with Michi Batshuayi. Arsenal, on the other hand, went with Alexandre Lacazette up top.
Two goals in the space of three minutes before halftime set Chelsea well on their way.
The first came from Willian as Chelsea went from one end of the pitch to the other in about 10 seconds. The Brazilian was admittedly given too much space to slot the ball in off the post.
As the Arsenal defence was still recovering from the shell shock, Michi Bahstuayi turned from provider to goalscorer as he curled past Ospina.
Batshuayi would grab his second and Chelsea's third just after the hour mark. The standout moment from the buildup though was Marcos Alonso leaving Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on his backside after a fantastic dummy.
While it's never wise to read into pre-season games as a good indication of the season ahead, Chelsea were extremely comfortable winners.
