Raheem Sterling isn't a popular man on Merseyside these days. After rejecting several contracts, it's claimed that he wants to leave the club, and that teams like Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid are all interested in securing his services.
As of now, there has been no front runner for Sterling, but another club has signalled their interest in the player. A group of entrepreneurs known as the Silkmen have launched a crowdfunding project to try and tempt Sterling to Macclesfield Town.
That's conference side Macclesfield Town. Their audacious bid is looking to raise the £50 million they think is required to persuade Liverpool to part ways with the winger.
So far they've raised a grand total of £135. Keep the faith lads, almost there.
