Jim McGuinness picked his first point as Charlotte Independence manager on Saturday night after a crazy 3-3 draw with the drearily named Atlanta United 2 in the USL Championship.
The Atlanta United reserve team took the lead after just 36 seconds through Romario Williams. The away side doubled that advantage just before half-time with Williams again the scorer.
It was in the 75th minute that the action stepped up a notch when Dominic Oduro got one back for Charlotte. Ten minutes later, they were level when substitute Kevan George found the net after Atlanta failed to properly clear the ball.
The home side's fans were sent into ecstasy - though the feeling did not last long - when 38-year-old Colombian midfielder Jorge Herrera found the bottom corner with a header in the 93rd minute.
However, Charlotte's lead would last just 90 seconds. Williams completed his hat-trick in the 94th minute when he struck home a rebound after Charlotte keeper Brandon Miller had saved a close range header.

The game was McGuinness's second league match in charge. Charlotte had lost their opening game 3-2 to Indy Eleven last weekend.
