Chelsea Not Happy With 'Nasty' Charlie Adam Tackle On Willian

Charlie Adam did not receive punishment for his badly timed tackle on Willian during Stoke and Chelsea's League Cup encounter.

Though the Chelsea Twitter account and likely the majority of football fans would probably agree that the Scottish midfielder should have received at least a yellow card.

Then Adam goes in late and high on Willian who needs treatment. That was a nasty tackle. #CFCLive

Willian is helped off the pitch clutching his knee which is where Adam made contact. The midfielder escaped punishment though. #CFCLive

Despite obviously being in pain at the time, Willian managed to finish 90 minutes.
