Arsenal have had a lot of criticism thrown their way following an abysmal Sunday afternoon performance against Manchester United last weekend, and tonight that misery was compiled by a loss at home to struggling Swansea City.
But the answer, according to Stoke City's Charlie Adam, is in The Potters' starting lineup most weeks and is organising his midfield with a noticeable Dublin accent.

Speaking to BBC Radio, Charlie Adam explained that Arsenal need a player like Glenn Whelan who will call a spade a spade and demand more of his teammates.
There's players in other teams where you know if you do something wrong you see them get dug out. I see [Alexis] Sanchez sometimes but he does it in the wrong way, he throws his arms in the air and things like that.
If I'm stood beside Glenn Whelan and I've done something wrong, he'll dig me out. It doesn't mean he doesn't like me, he just knows you're better than what you are. And sometimes you need that, you need that rollicking to spur you on.
And playing against Arsenal I just don't see it. I don't see that type of player, who gets to that stage where they want to have a go at somebody, just to try to gee them up and get them going.
Sadly it's missing from them.

What better way to compliment the relaxed, stylish football of Mesut Ozil than with Glenn Whelan bollocking him for not getting back. It's a match made in heaven.
Sadly for Wenger we imagine he would be told to look elsewhere if he tried to sign Whelan, as he has been an ever-present at the Britannia ever since he signed in January of 2008.
