Thursday evening's Channel 4 news featured a report on the altercation between Mario Balotelli and Roberto Mancini at Man City's training ground.

After recounting the incident to news presenter Cathy Newman, sports reporter Jordan Jarrett Bryan summarised some of Balotelli's previous bad boy escapades before highlighting a tweet from a Twitter account he believed to be that of Mario Balotelli. The account mainly tweets jokes and photoshopped pictures about football and it would be pretty obvious to most that it is not the account of the real Mario Balotelli. Something tells us that Mario's photoshop skills would not be up to the standard of those displayed by the account.

Jarrett Bryan inferred from the tweet that Balotelli was not taking the incident too seriously.

Channel 4 News quickly realised the mistake and made an apology before the end of the programme.
