Bayern Munich are hot favourites for saturday's Champions' League final and its hard to see Dortmund pulling the upset especially without Mario Gotze. Bayern have swept all before them in both the Bundesliga and Champions' League this season and Dortmund are no longer their bogey side.
Dortmund won the previous two Bundesliga titles and beat Bayern five matches in a row. This season the Bavarians beat Dortmund more comfortably than the 1-0 scoreline would suggest in the German cup and both of the two league matches finished in a 1-1 draw.
Bayern have also hammered the La Liga and Serie A champions on their way the final, beating Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate and Juventus 4-0. On the other hand, Dortmund scraped past Malaga and were clinging on at the end at the Bernabéu.
With that said 3/4 on Ladbrokes isn't an attractive price on a Bayern win in 90 minutes so taking a chance that Thomas Müller will get on the scoresheet in a Bayern win at 10/3 holds more appeal. The German "space investigator" has been in outstanding form this season and has scored an impressive 8 goals in 12 matches in the Champions' League.
At a bigger price, Arjen Robben at 8/1 for man of the match looks worth a small investment. These UEFA awards tend to favour the attacking players and Dutchman has always been capable of the spectacular.
Robben has shown a surprising appetite for his defensive work this season and seems to have more substance in his game than years past. Added to that, he is up against Marcel Schmelzer. The Dortmund left-back is suspect defensively and we fancy Robben to take advantage.
